SIR HARRY COWELL

“Sir” Harry Cowell has spent his entire life in the entertainment industry embracing every aspect of the business from the ground up. As drummer to drum tech and tour manager for super groups, he opened his first recording studio in 1989 before moving into international management and publishing leading to the successful Raiding the Rock Vault that has won an unprecedented Best Of Las Vegas for 7-years running.

Sir Harry was educated at Millfield School in Somerset, England and started in the music industry in 1979 as a drummer, soon afterwards becoming a drum tech, tour manager and manager, touring with acts such as Genesis, The Police, AC/DC, Blue Oyster Cult, Saga, Martha & The Muffins, and Ozzy Osbourne.

Sir Harry opened his first recording studio in 1989 where he worked with The Manic Street Preachers, My Bloody Valentine, T’Pau and The Damned. In 1991 he set up a new management company with Simon Napier-Bell (Yardbirds / Marc Bolan / Japan & Wham!), with which he expanded into international management, guiding million selling artists including Asia and Ultravox.

In 2000 Sir Harry joined Rive Droite Music and within 3 months he was made the Managing Director. Rive Droite was responsible for writing and/or producing over 100 hits for Kylie Minogue, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Tina Arena, Keith Urban, Leann Rimes, Cher, Katherine Jenkins and many more. Sir Harry was personally responsible for signing Katherine Jenkins to the Publishing arm of the company.<br>

Sir Harry left Rive Droite Music at the end of 2005, moving on to form Mission Entertainment Group. In September 2012, Mission was bought by Papa Entertainment PLC. Sir Harry was asked to stay on becoming the CEO.

Raiding the Rock Vault was born out of a conversation between Sir Harry and Board member Simon Napier-Bell. Six months later it debuted in March, 2012 at the LVH (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton) and the start of its Vegas adventure, Since then, The Vault has thrilled audiences at Westgate, New Tropicana, Hard Rock, and currently the Rio, gathering Best Of Las Vegas for the last six years (no other show has achieved this) and will add a world tour in 2020.

Raiding the Country Vault was launched in Branson, Missouri in May, 2016 and rapidly rose to #1 on TripAdvisor out of 152 concerts and shows in the city. Currently playing at the Americana Theatre it has been nominated for 9 Terry Awards and 4 Branson Awards winning a total of 6.

Sir Harry was presented the Key to Branson in 2017. Plans are currently afoot to launch Raiding the Latin Vault in 2022.
